The Role: VP Sales
We’re seeking a growth-obsessed, data-driven, and results-oriented VP of Sales & Media Buying to lead our sales and media teams at Secco Squared. This is not a maintenance role—this is for someone who can own revenue growth, scale partnerships, and optimize media buying strategies to maximize profitability.
Your Mission
- Own and drive revenue growth—expand our client portfolio and maximize existing partnerships.
- Lead & build a world-class sales & media team—hire, train, and push the team to close more deals and execute at a high level.
- Expand our advertiser & publisher network—aggressively grow our media partnerships and direct response opportunities.
- Optimize media buying strategies—use first-party data, precision targeting, and performance analytics to scale campaigns profitably.
- Develop and execute high-impact sales strategies—drive revenue with aggressive deal-making, strong negotiation skills, and clear execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Growth & High-Impact Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute a scalable, high-growth sales & media buying strategy.
- Own and scale revenue from $20M to $100M+.
- Identify and secure high-value advertiser and publisher partnerships.
- Optimize pricing, deal structures, and negotiation strategies to maximize profitability.
2. Leadership and Team Expansion
- Recruit, manage, and scale a high-performance sales & media buying team.
- Build a culture of accountability, execution, and aggressive growth.
- Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance tracking for the team.
3. Media Buying, Optimization & Data-Driven Execution
- Oversee multi-channel media buying strategies across email, display, native, social, and affiliate.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize bidding strategies, improve conversion rates, and increase ROAS.
- Stay ahead of market trends, emerging media channels, and new monetization opportunities.
Who You Are (A-Player Criteria)
Proven leader in performance marketing, affiliates, and media buying. Experienced in scaling sales & media buying teams, driving aggressive revenue growth. Expert dealmaker—negotiates and closes high-value advertiser and publisher deals. Understands media buying margins, bid optimization, and direct response marketing. Highly accountable—drives execution, pushes the team, and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
